"Promoting $SPC without disclosing that it was paid"

Was a part of a giant gotcha for promoting space along with a bunch of other paid partners, but he didn't disclose that it was paid. This type of inorganic shilling of products when you are getting paid without disclosing it is a huge knock against your credibility imo. https://i.imgur.com/cko1tlD.jpeg

Hey Serpin, First off, I want to say that I genuinely appreciate what you do for the space, and I think holding people accountable is a good thing. I have been disclosing partnerships with projects long before the "paid promotion" tag was implemented on X and have turned down dozens of projects that did not want me to disclose that I was being compensated. In this situation, I created my post about $SPC, marked it as a paid promotion, and saved it as a draft. When I posted the draft hours later, the paid promotion tag was left off. This is a known bug. As soon as I noticed the tag was missing, I retroactively added it from my phone. When I realized that $SPC was a rug I deleted the post so that no one else would buy in to a rapidly failing project. I have absolutely no reason to purposely mislead my audience about promotion, the risks are too great (reputation hit, getting banned, etc.) I accept all criticism for promoting $SPC. I vetted the project myself and came to the conclusion they were trustworthy based on their history, partnerships with highly respected companies, budget, roadmap, etc.. Obviously I was wrong, and if I could go back in time I wouldn't have promoted them. Promoting a rug is the biggest risk for KOLs like myself, and I do my best to avoid them, but sometimes even I get caught off guard. On a side note, the other negative reviews I have on your site are from Ethos Agent for not disclosing a partnership with a memecoin. I was one of approximately 6-7 KOLs who DID disclose partnership, but I was lumped in with the hundreds that did not. As I did with $SPC, after realizing the project was a rug I deleted the post to stop my followers from buying in. I did not screenshot the post before deleting and I can't find it in my X archive or on the way back machine, so really unless you know of another way to find it I can't prove it. Thanks for reading and keep doing what you do.
