Simon has come up recently in a few quote tweets - he's quite good at getting engagement on his tweets and was big during the Kaito era of CT However, there's a pretty large chunk of history missing that most people seem to ignore - Simon has a pretty rough past of supporting really poor projects that went to 0 As a VC, that's kind of his job - and most of the things that he supports WILL go to 0. So it's important to understand the nuance here that I'm highlighting Simon also has supported - via his echo group - several good projects too. It's not to say that everything he says or supports is bad, and again - as a VC, this is expected. However, I had to mute him months ago because of how blindly he supports things - including the pumping of $CARDS by Arthur Hayes & co - is simply unfounded noise. Even look recently at something like $ARX where we had a clear scam pump and dump. The guy and his fund are dangerous, and anything he says should have an asterisk next to his name.
