Part of a Sybil network: abuse of the Ethos system

Created: April 16, 2026 at 05:37 PMStatus: ACTIVE

Description

User [Zankar.eth](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/TheSankarg) is connected to a broader sybil network beyond just their own, which consists of multiple accounts. The evidence for this is highly probable based on the facts listed below.

In the previous [slash-round](https://app.ethos.network/activity/slash/424/part-of-a-sybil-network-abusing-the-ethos-system), a large community sybil cluster was published, in which this user was also listed based on connections made through on-chain transactions between addresses, common exchange deposits, and activity on X.

In this topic, two alt-accounts will be presented that, based on the connections, are the closest to him. However, it should be mentioned that there are more accounts connected to Zankar, and all of them are elements of the [sybil graph](https://0xzet.github.io/g_7/s_7_cluster.html).

The accounts belonging to Zankar are: [Alice](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/ogalice_e), [It's_Nikhil](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/nikhilb77719).

Common MEXC deposit address:

0x8c1f682f925eb834396ed29018a91de612e27592

The vast majority of incoming transfers come from It's_Nikhil. Some of them:

2023/07/18 09:27:18 + 4 TXS - [TXS](https://bscscan.com/tx/0x3a52da50dc6af35dba8d59168a00884bd5f8d80829eabcfd8c4761b633342429)

2025/07/30 09:21:47 (0.3376 BNB) - [TXS](https://bscscan.com/tx/0x2b97ea1fd08bd0f1cf7b69b22bb57df891b1ac0f2d05d5592ce1c7048aec1cb1)

The next most frequent incoming transfers come from Alice. Some of them:

2025/07/29 01:39:58 (Note the time of the previous transaction from It's_Nikhil) - [TXS](https://bscscan.com/tx/0x53715229058f205cde49e1053b39e85757fb98c8e637cffebd9ff15968110632)

2025/08/08 19:47:23 + 0.011 ETH - [TXS](https://etherscan.io/tx/0xfd4657a90d29cc38cb0c75401ef5db92a7662866fa7279e5c22ec0088ef4c4f5)

2025/09/28 05:12:13 + 146 $XPL ($211) -[TXS](https://plasmascan.to/tx/0xe605301a2580d936e82d5641737c3b46f142d31fd874f4356a68dd7c05737eba)

Transaction from Zankar.eth:

2025/12/09 19:34:15 + 50 USDT - [TXS](https://bscscan.com/tx/0x512e902a96f261dce08da6109a234ec560eab3e3737db937a22f692a4ca4258c)

In addition to the listed accounts, there is a transaction from [Shakib](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/Shakib22223023), who is also listed in the Graph and has on-chain, invites and review connections to the rest of the sybil network:

2024/05/02 15:49:57 + 0.0335 ETH - [TXS](https://basescan.org/tx/0xa4c26ebd9d961dfe112a26501a0b0ba0a8f39fcd3e91dfad1b8f98ac891d6c09)

Next, I will list the on-chain connections between the account addresses.

[Mister singh](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/Anikets37307121), a previously [exposed sybil](https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/598276/part-of-a-sybil-farm), receives a transaction from It's_Nikhil - [TXS](https://bscscan.com/tx/0xc1d6eaccd899a76ff3523729b6539a11077ca63c40356808272317f147145eea)

It's_Nikhil sends many transactions to the address of Alice. Examples:

[TXS 1](https://bscscan.com/tx/0xc5be04eef9422d32d127ddeeb657a474c3c1eb9218fd07d514e5f4a9912ffebd)

[TXS 2](https://bscscan.com/tx/0xdd3df079b436e11eab51cb65e08e97718bc7513ca2059e70ca46b67d63ae62d0)

Other connections are listed below:

Alice has a Telegram account "Nikhil_W_W" [linked](https://ibb.co/czwp1yH) to her profile, which almost directly references the account It's_Nikhil.

Alice posted a giveaway [winners announcement](https://ghostarchive.org/archive/57Hsq).

Zankar posts an address on [Twitter](https://ghostarchive.org/archive/JFPvR) that belongs to It's_Nikhil. He wins a giveaway and comments on it under the announcement post of the winners.

The second winner in the giveaway, is a user not connected to Ethos, but he publishes an address connected today to Alice's profile: https://gyo.tc/1tz3M

Zankar has a [Galxe account](https://ghostarchive.org/archive/l6HMh) under his EVM address, with the username "SankarOrigin". Under this same handle on Twitter is a user not registered on Ethos, [0x3.eth](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/sankarorigin). The connection is further confirmed by Zankar and 0x3.eth [publishing](https://ghostarchive.org/archive/9ectS) the same address on X. It's_Nikhil writes him a [positive review](https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/67791/high-profile-guy)

All of the listed profiles registered on Ethos are, in one way or another, connected through positive reviews to the sybil network listed on the graph.

In this case, the slash round consists of a penalty of 50 Score directed at the highest-ranked profile, along with the confiscation of half of his XP in my favor.

Zankar will move from the "Known" status to "Neutral" status and will permanently receive a label indicating that he has gone through a slash-round on the topic of abuse and involvement in/organization of a sybil network.

The other half of his XP may be confiscated at the team's discretion.

The remaining mentioned profiles will receive a negative review from me after this voting round is completed.

Based on the evidence provided, we can firmly conclude that the mentioned accounts belong to him. They have a direct connection to him through multiple types of links, and they were also used to increase the credibility Score of both the sybil network accounts from the graph and his own accounts.

Furthermore, organizing giveaways where the organizer wins through their own alternative accounts constitutes falsification, which is inherently highly unethical.

1000% fake claim , simply bruh claiming my xp with fake allegation 😂 serpin please check my reputation i participated ethos hackthon and got xp ( bruh getting my half of Xp with simple fake allegations ) its clear unfair let's decode step by step ( with strong proof ) 1 . first thing this two accounts are not mine ( its my friend account even he's not my region he's other state crypto friend )👇 https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/nikhilb77719 https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/ogalice_e ( both account are same guy , name - nikhil ) ig “It’s_Nikhil” is a my friend I’ve known for ~2 years in crypto. We have had normal p2p (borrowing/repaying funds during emergencie needs ). MEXC deposit address argument ( unfair claim ) The address (0x8c1f...592) is not my address. ( i repay borrowed money ) It belongs to my friend account ( i give proof - share our telegram conversation with screen record not image , also if you serpin need more evidence i also ready to share our entire chat json. file , only for serpin not for so called slashers) proof drive link - https://drive.google.com/file/d/10k4je7F0CljuMK-5igICPMHC942AJs6k/view?usp=sharing 3) Transaction clustering = false assumption The slasher lists multiple transactions as “evidence”. but only one tx mentioned my address zankar.eth ( this only adress ) Transaction from Zankar.eth: 2025/12/09 19:34:15 + 50 USDT - https://bscscan.com/tx/0x512e902a96f261dce08da6109a234ec560eab3e3737db937a22f692a4ca4258c ( i asked him fund for one presale ) ( WTH only one tx for enough for claim 😂???? in the name of cluster are you kidding bruh ?? ) On-chain transfers between two wallets do not prove common ownership. This is misleading. 4) Giveaway accusation (misrepresented) I did not organize any giveaway. One instance mentioned: I was asked by my friend to post his address drive link - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qqMNY52NvnffWoyCQV4H0xVcN8ygSe6s/view?usp=sharing 5) 0x3.eth Yes, 0x3.eth is my secondary wallet. i used this account for my local political activity and giveaway participation in this scenario , very first nikhil asked me to join ethos , i gave him my second account ( cuz i don't know about ethos so i shared my dummy/second account ) in web3 i use my 0x3.eth account for alpha level project for security issues , still i didn't use anymore after i send this to him , because ethos changed invite with evm address so i cant use 0x3.eth at ethos cuz i don't have invite , ( 0x3.eth has no activity on Ethos (no invites, no XP, no reviews from my side ) after some day later i got invite and i understood what is ethos how we contribute so i chose my primary account TheSankarg to review , vouch , and other activity you can check the date -- April 20, 2025 at 10:08 AM nikhill reviewed 0x3.eth account that time ethos in alpha stage ig so i cant understood about ethos proof drive link - https://drive.google.com/file/d/11-6z1_wTAAdlpe6komg86Rl3ZIxJiMHA/view?usp=sharing 7) No connection to alleged sybil network I have no relationship or coordination with: * Shakib * Mister Singh * Any “sybil graph” mentioned This accusation fails to provide: No evidence of coordinated exploit behavior No proof of multi-account control on Ethos Instead, it relies on: * assumptions * indirect associations * normal user behavior misinterpreted as abuse bruh just need my Xps , so he chose false route , simple😂

Hey, buddy. Let me respond to each paragraph without unnecessary emotion, so you can more clearly understand what’s going on. Of course, it would be surprising if you didn’t have a position to defend yourself (it’s good that you do). I put my 50 Score and 70K XP on the line for the following reasons: I had a choice - to cut you by 200 or less. I thought Score was more important to you than XP, so I decided to compensate for that, thereby creating not-too-harsh conditions for you. Why are they not too harsh? According to my personal beliefs, I consider Zankar to be your main account, especially since you participated in the hackathon and hold the Ethos Developer badge. However, this should not give you immunity in such situations. Likewise, a connection to a sybil network should not be ignored. I am confident that your Credibility Score should be adjusted based on the reasons I have put forward, and also on the basis of the comment you were going to use to defend yourself. I back up my confidence with the stake of my XP and Score. As for the rest of your XP and the reasons for its origin - that’s none of my business. I clearly stated in the slash-round thread: The other half of his XP may be confiscated at the team's discretion. I support the idea that if your XP was earned honestly, it may have no relation to what published here. Regarding your other points: Point one. You mention that the Alice and Nikhil accounts belong to your friend, and that you have known him long enough, and your relationship allows for borrowing money. LET US SUPPOSE this is true, although we cannot be entirely sure. In that case, knowing that these accounts belong to one person (a conclusion that can be drawn based on the history), you received positive reviews from him, and also failed to disclose this fact earlier. It is worth noting that Alice and Nikhil have a very significant review based connection to the rest of the sybil cluster, part of which has been proven, and the other part is obvious. Based on such a connection, one can conclude that behind these accounts stands one major organizer of the network. Who is he, this friend of yours? If it is not you, then who? Even based on this logical scenario, it turns out that you ARE connected to a sybil network, which only confirms the validity of the slash round thread. Regarding the MEXC deposit address, it has been made sufficiently clear and concise that there is no accusation that this address is YOURS. There is factual data that you HAVE an on chain connection to it. In the thread, the transactions are deliberately listed in descending order. You write, "Grouping transactions = false assumption.". This is not a false assumption, but data based on which a CONNECTION can be established, and which is presented to the public for them to make a decision. Here is a review you received from your friend's sybil account, Alice: [Link](https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/490780/enthusiastic) and [screenshot](https://ibb.co/N26qkvFs), where you support him, as do some of your friends who have now spoken up here. Here is a [review](https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/369074/enthusiast) you received from Nikhil, which you and your support team [upvoted](https://ibb.co/cchmbqWQ). Here you yourself write a [review](https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/528018/true-yapper) for a sybil account under the nickname Annie. That it is a sybil account has been proven. That all these figures are connected to a single organizer is obvious to me. Here you write a positive [review](https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/384396/tg-friend-shek) for yet another sybil. All of these accounts are related to the user [RealAlpha](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/MrRealAlpha) (Perhaps he is your friend, why don't you tell us more?) I will repeat myself. EVEN IF Alice and Nikhil are not under your control, you know under whose control they are and likely know the full scale. This means that you ARE CONNECTED to a sybil network that has been abusing the system for several months. Only two types of people can defend you: 1. Those who have not looked critically enough into the issue. 2. Those who are your friends and those who are abusing the Ethos system. In conclusion, I will emphasize that I myself have nothing against losing a slash round someday. Somewhere deep down I want this, because it will relieve me of a lot of routine research for a while. Let the people vote and do not forget that this issue is more about data on the basis of which a decision is made, rather than a final verdict in favor of your punishment. But I believe that you should be stripped of 50 Score, and XP is something you can earn back through contributions if you are still interested in that. If you believe that you should be left untouched based on all these reasons, then I do not understand why any Credibility Score adjustments are needed, or Ethos itself for that matter. In any case, your defense seems extremely suspicious to me and contains semantic manipulation. I repeat, if my Credibility Score is not stripped, I will not stop and I will get to practically everyone who is abusing the Ethos system. Sometimes I will stake XP, sometimes only Score.
