TacBuild, often associated with the TAC blockchain, is a purpose-built blockchain designed to enable Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) decentralized applications (dApps) to integrate with the TON (The Open Network) and Telegram ecosystems, which boast over 1 billion users. It allows Solidity developers to deploy their existing code seamlessly onto the TAC EVM layer without requiring rewrites, leveraging a TON-Adapter to bridge Ethereum dApps with Telegram's massive user base. This integration aims to bring EVM functionality and liquidity to the TON ecosystem, focusing on consumer use cases like decentralized finance (DeFi). The project is structured in phases: the initial setup established core infrastructure, the Flame Phase launched the TAC Mainnet and introduced governance and rewards, and the Radiance Phase plans to optimize the TON-Adapter and expand Ethereum's DeFi ecosystem to Telegram Mini Apps. TAC uses proxy smart contracts and a decentralized sequencer network with a delegated proof-of-stake (dPoS) consensus mechanism, enhanced by Bitcoin staking via the Babylon protocol, for secure cross-chain communication. Recent developments indicate TAC has raised significant funding, attracted top-tier dApps, and committed substantial total value locked (TVL), positioning it as a potential turning point for onchain finance within Telegram. It emphasizes user-friendly access, allowing Telegram users to engage with DeFi with minimal steps, and has initiatives like liquidity vaults and community rewards to bootstrap its ecosystem.
