I first encountered Afonso in the Monad ecosystem. From those early days, he has been one of the heartbeat of the community, the person who transforms ordinary spaces into vibrant, welcoming environments where everyone feels they belong. Afonso's approach to community building is multifaceted and genuine. Whether hosting games and quizzes, organizing Smash Karts tournaments, or simply engaging in thoughtful conversations, he consistently brings energy, creativity, and purpose to everything he does. His work with the 10K squad gang helped keep the newbie chat alive and thriving, ensuring newcomers didn't just join a server, they joined a family. What truly distinguishes Afonso, however, is not just his enthusiasm but his unwavering consistency and integrity. This is someone who didn't achieve recognition overnight or through shortcuts. Instead, he earned his reputation the hard way: by showing up every single day, contributing meaningfully, helping others without hesitation, and ensuring no one felt left behind. His journey from an active community member to a respected figure across Monad is a testament to his work ethic, dedication, and authentic character. I first met him when I arrived at DC Monad. We immediately hit it off, and I think he's very original and has his own opinion on everything. He's one of those people who helps newbies catch their favorites. I hope Afonso remembers that I have a prize to collect from him.
