I conversed with Doran multiple times on the @defidotapp's discord on matters related to the app, the UX and the overall DeFi experience, he always showed great patience and delivered pertinent replies (not to mention great tips and teasers that helped me when yapping about the project)

During the difficulties I faced after my suspension, Doran’s support and approach were truly an example of humanity beyond professionalism. He was always kind, patient, and clear. A man who should be looked up to. His approach shows how valuable a team is managing the Defi App community. Responsible people like him play a major role in the success of a project. I once read a valuable piece that said; “The real challenge isn’t building a community, it’s keeping it. You can build one with a campaign, a testnet, or some hype. but maintaining it? That’s where the real work begins. Loyalty, trust, and continuity aren’t things every project can cultivate.” Defi App team is exactly that kind of team. Doran currently leads community efforts at DeFi App—but instead of fostering transparency or open discussion, he’s actively suppressing it. Following a major breach of investor trust—where DeFi App changed vesting terms 48 hours before TGE without consent from investors, including leads—Doran has chosen to mute and censor community members who raise legitimate concerns about the team’s actions. Rather than engage constructively or offer clarity, Doran’s approach has been to silence dissent—even when that dissent comes from early supporters who backed the project when there was nothing but a deck. Community management isn’t about spin—it’s about trust, accountability, and holding leadership to the same standards they expect from others. When the Head of Community becomes the first line of defense for bad behavior, it sends a clear signal: this is not a team that welcomes transparency. Future communities should think twice before placing their public-facing comms in the hands of someone willing to mute the truth.

I am lucky to have come across a person like Doran in web3, one of the real ones out there. Met him in wormhole first when he was a moderator there, later on he joined Defi app, and grew the community of few 100 to now thousand, makes great video content, leads the community team, and one of the giga brains of Defi app ! I cheer for Doran and any team who has him in the team, is lucky.

Doran is a CM for Defi App and he built a healthy community with his ability to carry everyone along and make everyone feel like family. He's someone I really respect, and just a great guy. Very approachable and kind.

Since stepping into his role as Community Director at @defidotapp, Doran has quietly become one of the most dependable and thoughtful voices in the space. He doesn’t chase clout. He builds connection. And that’s exactly what makes him stand out. You won’t see him shouting the loudest but he’s always there, responding to questions, supporting users, organizing things behind the scenes, and giving credit where it’s due. The kind of consistency and care he brings isn’t easy to find in a fast-paced world like Web3. What makes Doran different is how personal he makes things feel. He brings a human touch to a digital world, and that matters more than most people realize. If you’ve interacted with @defidotapp lately and felt like “this place gets it” there’s a good chance Doran had something to do with that. Solid guy. Big heart. Even bigger impact. I met Doran in the DeFi App community on X; he’s the head of the community, and I honestly have nothing but good things to say about him. What stood out to me most was how he handled the issue of community members who couldn’t claim their yapping rewards due to X account suspensions. He approached the situation logically and calmly, even when some of the affected members were understandably emotional. This made me even more emotionally attached to the team and the project. You can tell Doran is deeply dedicated to his role from how he interacts with members to the way he represents the brand. Doran, I really appreciate the effort you put in. I see it, we all see it.
